Women in the Spotlight in Marbella

Marbella’s Woman’s Week was held for the first time during the first week of March, this year. This was an international event, especially designed to take place in the capital of Costal del Sol, which has highlighted subjects of interest for women. The first edition of Marbella’s Woman’s Week is an initiative meant for the dissemination and the exchange of various ideas regarding diversity, integrity or equality, beyond political or partial formulations. This event was held on March 7th and March 8th. It is known that in many countries, March 8th is considered Woman’s Day, so the organizers have considered this aspect as well.

A large group of experts, scholars, businessmen, journalists, communicators and institutional representatives have gathered in Marbella with the occasion of Woman's Week, in order to share concerns, knowledge, experiences, procedures and models of action related to business, communication, information technology, health, art and creativity.

Marbella’s Woman's Week had as central themes the interest in new companies, communication and social networking aspects about the health and the wellbeing of women around the world, as well as themes related to creative decor, fashion and artistic expression.
