Water Polo Tournament in Marbella

The second edition of the Water Polo Tournament Marbella Beach Paradise was held between August 10th and August 12th. The waters of El Faro Beach have hosted for the second consecutive year the exciting competitions of water polo.

The people who have taken interest in this event and who have organized it are the Municipal Delegate of Sports and the Sporting Director of Waterpolo Club from Marbella. They have presented their initiative to the City Council and have obtained approval every year.

The intense water polo weekend had participants from Madrid, Elche, Gibraltar, Jaen and Marbella. During the competition, the other attendees had the opportunity to engage in parallel activities suited for families.

The categories of participants were divided in men’s teams, women’s teams and mixed teams, as well as in major and minor people starting with the age of 13. The game field was installed in water before the tournament’s start.

During the first day, the games have started at noon, but during Saturday and Sunday the games have started early in the morning. The end of the games was marked by an awards ceremony, which was held during Sunday’s afternoon on the same beach.

The Water Polo Tournament will most probably be organized next year as well, so do not miss the opportunity to participate as well.
